On the 19th October, Evolution ABS was announced winner of the ‘Skills for Growth Award’ in the 2018 annual Somerset Business Awards; the largest business awards in the county. The Skills for Growth Award, judged by Wessex Reserve Forces & Cadets Association, recognised our success in investing in the skills of their existing workforce to meet a particular business need, but also have shown a commitment to developing the Somerset workforce of the future.

The 2018 Somerset Business Awards was the most competitive to date; receiving over ninety entries, an increase of approximately 36.5% compared to 2017. The 'Black-Tie' awards' ceremony was held at Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton on 19th October and was attended by approximately four hundred guests representing business within the local area. In true Somerset style, Somerset cricketer, Peter Trego, announced the fourteen award winners to the anxiously waiting entrants.
