Our team is firmly rooted in the farming community with many of the team having been brought up on local family farms.This, combined with our technical accounting and tax skills, allows us to deliver a quality specialist service to our rural clients.

As a business we prepare accounts and Income Tax Returns, but our tax specialists focus on advising our clients on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax matters, often as part of succession planning projects.

We currently have the opportunity for an experienced and/or trainee tax specialist to join the Evolution team.

We are looking for someone to support our primary advisors with preparing and delivering tax advice to drive the implementation of projects, often working closely with the clients and their other professional advisors.

We are looking for individuals who have experience working in a tax environment with strong attention to detail, high-quality presentation skills, and an excellent written style.Ideally they will be CTA qualified, but as minimum they will be ATT qualified or qualified by experience. They will have a desire to continually learn to ensure they are the forefront of Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax changes.Whilst the focus will be on supporting the primary advisors, the ideal candidate will enthusiastically help to develop our more junior tax specialists and support the wider team with tax matters.At Evolution we firmly believe in shaping each individuals’ role around their natural strengths and their passions.We therefore do not have a precise job specification for an additional tax specialist as the detail of the role will be driven by the individual.Similarly, the route for progression will depend on the aspirations of the individual.As we are committed to helping each individual to fulfil their ambitions, we will provide opportunities and support the candidate in progressing to where they want to be.
